Intuitive, Astrologer, and Healer
Since childhood, I have had awareness of spiritual gifts and have been committed to expanding my spiritual and astrological knowledge. I began seriously studying astrology and developing my gifts in my late teens, where I attended classes a local metaphysical school and joined a spiritualist community. I later studied astrology under the mentorship of some amazing astrologers and dedicated myself to the craft. I received certification from the American Federation of Astrologers and am a member of ISAR, the International Society for Astrological Research.
A SATURN RETURN TURNING POINT
Before starting my practice, I maintained a career in marketing and fundraising. I became successful in helping raise awareness about important causes like alternative sentencing for nonviolent offenders, ending violence against women, and helping prevent and heal the effects of sexual assault. I wrote, managed social media campaigns, produced videos, led strategic marketing initiatives, and worked as a marketing professional.
When I went through my Saturn Return at age 29, I experienced a breakthrough in this struggle to define my purpose. I realized that I could use my knowledge of astrology and spiritual gifts to help others. By following my own passion for astrology, metaphysics, and healing, I could empower others to take bold, definite, and graceful steps forward on their paths.
I started my practice in 2006, after a consultation with a remarkable soul reader and dear friend, Maryann Russell, who encouraged me to pursue this path. Today, I maintain an international client base consisting of individuals, small businesses, and corporations. I help connect my clients with spiritual and astrological resources so that they can have their most prosperous, romantic, successful, and blissful lives.
I write regular articles and horoscopes for the Live Box Magazine, lead meditation groups, teach workshops, and speak internationally on spiritual and astrological topics.
DEDICATED SCHOLAR AND ACTIVIST
I also completed my MA in Theology at Loyola Marymount University. My Masters Thesis focuses on gender, religion, and justice, and it will include research I have conducted on the witch trials of the Early Modern Period in Germany. I am passionate about social justice and environmental causes, and I regularly volunteer and support organizations dedicated to affecting change in our community.
When I have free time, I bike to the beach, hike the canyons, run in Clover Park, meditate, spend time with friends, drink espresso, read for fun, play my red accordion, watch independent films, Skype with my family, and entertain my cats, Eli and Norah.
